Description

Why 29-gauge × 1/2"?

The 29-gauge × 1/2" insulin syringe is the standard size for subcutaneous injectable protocols. The 29-gauge needle is thin enough to be comfortable, sturdy enough not to bend during repeated use, and the 1/2" length gives reliable subcutaneous depth across most injection sites. Easy Touch is a US-distributed brand known for sharp tri-bevel cuts, electro-polished tips, and consistent batch-to-batch quality.

When to choose 29G vs 31G

29G is the workhorse — a slightly thicker gauge that draws faster, resists bending on tougher rubber septums, and gives a reliable injection at standard subcutaneous depth. 31G is finer (less sensation) but slower to draw and softer on impact. If you reconstitute with bac water and inject the same day, 29G is the more reliable pick. If you re-use the same drawn dose more cautiously and want minimum injection feel, 31G is gentler.
